I love playing guitar probably just as much as I love drawing. To me it’s just another form of creation. I get the same kind of feeling from when I lay down a tasty lick as I do when I finish a successful drawing. Its just quicker. You play the notes, you resonate with the tune, and then its gone. I think that’s what I like most about music making. You create it, and it exists only for the moments that it is heard, and is enjoyed only by those who hear it. I understand you can edit and refine a recording, but there is a certain quality that music has when it is fresh and improvised.

Anyway, this drawing really has nothing to do with the theories of flow and resonance (I’ll leave further musing for a later post). For now I hope you enjoy this drawing of my guitar collection.
